For week three, the focus is on place of articulation, or where the sounds are produced in our mouths. Again, since this is a variant of English that I’m working on, there isn’t anything that I am not already using. This week my goal is to continue focusing on the smaller details of the transatlantic accent and work on components related to rhoticity, allophonic differences, and specific consonant clusters with subtly different pronunciations in comparison to Mainstream American English and RP.
