Assistant Director of Global Outreach Online Programs (Spring 2021-Spring 2023)

• Use instructional design principles to develop a training course for future student employees working on grant projects on Canvas

• Facilitate and rebuilt six courses for international educational partners in South Korea and China through Blackboard

• Conduct administrative tasks related to course facilitation and enrollment

• Manage a team of 3-4 employees each semester while using team-building principles

 

Facilitator, EMI (Summer 2021- Spring 2023) 

• Facilitate the course, English as a Medium of Instruction, in partnership with the US Department of State and course facilitators FHI 360, four times a calendar year

• Manage 1-6 course sections each term with 25 students enrolled in each section and delegate tasks between employees

• Implement 15-40 course revision requests per session between Ohio University and FHI 360 

• Utilize interpersonal skills to lead logistic communication between entities

• Co-director of a community-based ESL program, English for All for 

• Provide individualized feedback for 7-11 student teachers each semester on the creation of lesson plans, syllabi, and classroom materials

• Oversaw two synchronous online ESL classes for students in Latin America 

 

Southeastern Ohio Language Project  (Fall ’20-Spring ’23)

• Analyze authentic language data for corpus research on Appalachian English

• Oversee web development and maintenance for The Language Project in the research lab

• Oversee the development and release of fifteen podcast episodes on sociolinguistic topics
